Lauri Almann joins from his previous position as the Permanent Under- Secretary of the Estonian Ministry of Defence. Aare Raigi Advokaadibüroo advised AS Tallink Grupp, the leading shipping company in the northern Baltic Sea region, on one of the largest public share offerings of recent years in Estonia. Following the listing of Tallink’s shares on the OMX Tallinn Stock Exchange just 6 months ago, we helped the company carry out a secondary public share offering worth some EUR 100 million by way of a rights issue to existing shareholders. The transaction was also significant in that it was the first- ever rights issue in Estonia where the subscription rights (as opposed to the underlying shares) were listed and traded on the OMX Tallinn Stock Exchange.
